HOOK-UP AND OPERATION
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ECONO PHOTOCELL
DESCRIPTION
This is a photocell timer module, which is
installed in an Ammo Box. Module
timer is capable of feeding once or twice a day. This timer operates on a
12-Volt DC Gel Cell battery.
Connect the red battery wire to the "POS." + Battery Screw Terminal Board and the black wire
to the "NEG" – Battery
Screw Terminal board. Hook the "
POS." red motor wires to the "
POS." + Motor Screw Terminal Board and the "NEG" - black motor wire to the "NEG"- Motor Screw terminal Board. CAUTION! DANAGE TO CIRCUIT
WILL RESULT IF CONNECTED IMPROPERLY AND LEFT IT WILL EVENTUALLY BURN UP YOUR
CIRCUIT. When the controller is first hooked to a battery it sometimes runs
the motor twice. This is normal. Be sure and keep the heat shrink protective
covers over the hook-up terminals on the motor wires. These terminals have been
installed to make it easy to remove your module with out tools if you wish to
remove the module or if it needs service.
After the controller is hooked-up and has
settled out. It looks at light. Cover the small hole with your hand or dark
cloth or paper. The light sensor is behind the hole. The electronic filter in
the controller causes an operation delay of about thirty seconds to one minute.
The motor will operate after the delay. Remove your hand or cover and the
motor will operate again after the delay. Two operations will occur only if the
controller is on 2 operations. Two things control the
amount of feed out; the run time on the controller and the distance the spinner
is set from below the opening of the feed shoot. A distance of 5/8” is usually
adequate. The operator can adjust the two for the amount of feed out desired.
Connect the spade terminals to the binding
posts on the side of the container.
GOOD HUNTING!
